Mirror Effect and Privacy

The mirror film creates a pronounced one-way mirror effect: from outside, only the reflection of the surroundings is visible, while the view from inside is maintained – albeit slightly tinted.

Important: The mirror effect always works on the side with the stronger light. During the day, the film reflects outwards and provides privacy. In darkness with interior lighting switched on, the effect reverses – the illuminated interior then becomes visible from outside.

For Single Glazing

This mirror film is specifically designed for interior mounting on flat single glazing. It is not suitable for double glazing, thermal insulation glazing or tinted glass, as solar radiation can build up between the panes.

For double glazing or other glass types, we recommend the Silver Mirror Film for exterior mounting, which is suitable for all glazing types.

Installation

The film is applied from the inside onto the cleaned glass surface using water and the included installation kit. Partial application is not possible with this film – the film must cover the entire glass surface.

Warranty

10 years against discolouration or peeling when applied to vertical surfaces.

For double glazing or other glass types, the Silver Mirror Film exterior is the right choice – with 82% heat protection and suitability for all glazing types.
