This self-adhesive silver mirror film is applied from the inside onto single glazing and provides excellent heat and sun protection with a pronounced mirror effect. The film rejects 80% of solar energy and ensures reliable daytime privacy.

Mirror Effect and Privacy
The mirror film creates a pronounced one-way mirror effect: from outside, only the reflection of the surroundings is visible, while the view from inside is maintained – albeit slightly tinted.
Important: The mirror effect always works on the side with the stronger light. During the day, the film reflects outwards and provides privacy. In darkness with interior lighting switched on, the effect reverses – the illuminated interior then becomes visible from outside.
For Single Glazing
This mirror film is specifically designed for interior mounting on flat single glazing. It is not suitable for double glazing, thermal insulation glazing or tinted glass, as solar radiation can build up between the panes.
For double glazing or other glass types, we recommend the Silver Mirror Film for exterior mounting, which is suitable for all glazing types.
Installation
The film is applied from the inside onto the cleaned glass surface using water and the included installation kit. Partial application is not possible with this film – the film must cover the entire glass surface.
Durability
Expected durability as stated by the film manufacturer: up to 10 years when applied to vertical surfaces, in terms of discolouration and peeling of the film. Actual durability depends on location, wear and care. This is not a guarantee. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Variants
For double glazing or other glass types, the Silver Mirror Film exterior is the right choice – with 82% heat protection and suitability for all glazing types. If you prefer a tinted film without mirror effect, you will find various options for interior mounting in our sun protection films: Silver Dark, Silver Medium and Silver Light.

- Do not apply interior films to insulating glass or thermal insulation glass. There is a risk of thermal glass breakage. Check the type of glass before installation and ask us if you are unsure.
- Keep film, backing paper and packaging away from babies and small children. If they cover the airways, there is a risk of suffocation.
- Cutting the film involves utility knives and sharp blades. There is a risk of injury, keep tools out of the reach of children.
- Installing film on exterior surfaces or at height involves a risk of falling. Work from a secure footing or hire a specialist company. For roof windows we generally recommend installation by a specialist company.
