This self-adhesive sun protection film in Silver Medium offers a balanced ratio between sun protection and room brightness. With 30 % light transmission, the room remains pleasantly bright while 68 % of solar energy is rejected. The silver mirror effect provides daytime privacy from outside.
The silver coating creates a distinct one-way mirror effect during daylight: from outside, one sees the reflection of the surroundings rather than the interior. From inside, you can look out unobstructed – only slightly tinted.
Important: The mirror effect always works on the side with the stronger light. During the day, the film mirrors outward and provides privacy. In darkness with interior lighting switched on, the effect reverses – the illuminated interior becomes visible from outside.
This film is primarily designed for interior installation on single glazing. It is also suitable for:

For double glazing or other glass types, we recommend the Sun Protection Film Silver Medium for Exterior Installation, which is suitable for almost all common glazing types.
The film is applied from the inside onto the cleaned glass surface using water and the included mounting kit. Partial installation is not possible with this film – the film must cover the entire glass surface.

I ordered the window film in measured pieces and it arrived very well protected. The instruction was easy to understand and the tools was exactly what was needed for the mounting. Just after the mounting we could feel reduction in the heat inside the room. If you take care with the mounting and use the right amount liquid, you will get a very good experience.
