• Insulating glazing (double glazing) – with restrictions, consultation recommended
• Low-E glass – with restrictions, consultation recommended
• Tinted low-E glass – with restrictions, consultation recommended
• Laminated glass / safety glass – yes

Note: With low-E glass and tinted insulating glass, exterior mounting may cause thermal stress in the glass. We recommend consulting us before ordering in these cases.

Installation

The film is applied from the outside onto clean, smooth glass. The glass surface must be thoroughly cleaned before installation, as exterior surfaces are more heavily soiled than interior surfaces. Instructions and an installation kit are included.

Durability

Expected durability as stated by the film manufacturer:

• up to 5 years when applied to vertical surfaces
• up to 3 years when applied to horizontal surfaces

The shorter durability compared to interior films is due to the greater weather exposure outdoors. Actual durability depends on location, orientation, weather and care. This is not a guarantee. Your statutory rights are not affected.
