- Measure the width and height of the actual glass surface (without window frame!) with millimetre accuracy.

Subtract approx. 1-2 mm from these original measurements and note these measurements.
This tiny circumferential edge to the rubber seal guarantees you a simpler handling of the film during installation (easier moving of the film) and also optimal stability of the window foil on the glass surface (the foils do not stick on window seals, but only on glass surfaces!). This increases the overall durability of your film.
