Mirror Effect and Privacy
The blue coating creates a striking, metallic blue mirror effect on the exterior side of the window. From outside, the blue reflection of the surroundings is visible, while the view from inside remains unobstructed – albeit slightly tinted with a blue colour cast.
Important: The mirror effect always works on the side with the stronger light. During the day, the film mirrors outward and provides privacy. In darkness with interior lighting switched on, the effect reverses.
Suitable Glazing Types
This film is intended exclusively for interior installation on flat single glazing.
Not suitable for insulating glazing, low-E glass, tinted glazing or laminated glass.
For double glazing or other glass types, we recommend the Sun Protection Film Blue Dark for Exterior Mounting, which is suitable for additional glazing types.
Installation
The film is applied from the inside onto the cleaned glass surface using water and the included mounting kit. Partial installation is not possible with this film – it must cover the entire glass surface.
Warranty
10 years against discolouration or peeling when applied to vertical surfaces.
Variants
For exterior installation, the Sun Protection Film Blue Dark – Exterior is the right choice – also suitable for roof windows and angled glazing.
