This clear shatter protection film with 100µm thickness holds glass fragments together on impact, significantly reducing the risk of injury. With 93 % light transmission, it is barely noticeable on the glass and changes neither the light nor the appearance of the window. It is suitable for nurseries, schools, offices and anywhere glass breakage poses a safety risk.

Shatter Protection – How It Works
On impact or a blow, glass can break into sharp fragments. The shatter protection film forms a tough, elastic layer on the glass surface and holds the pieces together so they do not fly across the room. The film is tested to EN 12600 (DIN 52337) and significantly increases the impact resistance of the glazing. This reduces the risk of injury from accidents, vandalism or storm damage.
Suitable Glazing Types
This film is suitable for interior installation on the following glass types:
- Single glazing
- Tinted single glazing
- Insulating glazing (double glazing)
- Low-E glass
- Tinted low-E glass
- Laminated glass / safety glass
Installation
The film is applied from the interior side onto clean, smooth glass. Thanks to the self-adhesive backing, installation is completed in just a few steps – instructions and an installation kit are included. For permanent shatter protection, the film should cover the entire glass surface and extend beneath the window frame or seal.
Durability
Expected durability as stated by the film manufacturer: up to 10 years when professionally installed on vertical interior surfaces, in terms of discolouration and peeling of the film. Actual durability depends on location, wear and care. This is not a guarantee. Your statutory rights are not affected.

- Do not apply interior films to insulating glass or thermal insulation glass. There is a risk of thermal glass breakage. Check the type of glass before installation and ask us if you are unsure.
- Keep film, backing paper and packaging away from babies and small children. If they cover the airways, there is a risk of suffocation.
- Cutting the film involves utility knives and sharp blades. There is a risk of injury, keep tools out of the reach of children.
